AN AMERICAN basketball star says it will be an “honour” to play in the first regular NBA season games staged in Europe.nba 2011 The back-to-back matches between the New Jersey Jets and the Toronto Raptors will be played on March 4 and 5 next year at The O2 in North Greenwich.It follows several years of pre-season showpieces successfully staged at the arena and will breathe new life into the sport in the UK.

New Jersey star Devin Harris was in London to promote the matches and met some of the excited youngsters eager to get a glimpse of competitive NBA basketball.nba 2011 “I’m really excited to be playing two regular season games in London next year – it’s something a little bit different for us and we’re always happy to be part of something new,” he said. “Playing the first regular season game in Europe is an honour and I think it will become a popular trend for the NBA as basketball continues to grow over here.”
